Snap, snap, snap

The snapper is a chain of chunky links that only turn in steps. Press on a link and drag it round, and it clicks from one angle to the next with a crisp snap, taking the rest of the chain with it. Twist a few links and the chain becomes a wave, a hook, a square or a curled-up snake.

Tap Straighten to click it all back into a line and start again. There is no shape you are meant to make, so every twist is the right one.

Real snapper toys are great in the hand but can pull apart into small pieces. This one stays in one piece on the screen. Each snap is made in the browser with a little change in pitch, and on Android devices you can feel it too with Vibration on. Choose softer sounds or silence in Settings.
