After this much play, the fidgets fade to a calm "time for a break" screen. Nothing is lost, and only a grown-up can add more time.

Switches, lights and clicks

The clicker board is a panel of chunky toggle switches and round push buttons. Flip a switch and its light comes on with a satisfying clack; press a button and it clicks down and pops back up. Several fingers can flip switches at once, so you can run a whole row in one sweep.

There is no goal and no pattern to find. Switch them all on, switch them all off, make stripes or a checkerboard. It is a busy board that fits in a tablet.

Tuned for comfort

Every click is made in the browser, with a small change in pitch each time so it never becomes a grating loop. Choose wood or soft clicks, turn the volume down, or go silent in Settings. High-contrast and color-blind-friendly lights are there too.

The clicker board is part of Family Plus. Like everything on Unruffled, it has no ads, loads no trackers and never asks a child for anything.

Questions parents ask

What is a fidget clicker board?

A board of switches and buttons that click when you press them, like the busy boards and fidget cubes children love. Every switch lights up when it is on.

Do the switches do anything?

They light up and click. That is all, and that is the point: there is nothing to solve and nothing to get wrong.

Is the clicker board free?

It is part of Family Plus. The pop-it, bubble wrap and spinner are free.

Can I turn the clicks off?

Yes. In Settings, choose Silent, or soft, wood or water sounds, and set the volume.
