Gentle stop

After this much play, the fidgets fade to a calm "time for a break" screen. Nothing is lost, and only a grown-up can add more time.

Click, click, click

The fidget slider is a set of tracks, each with a fat round knob. Drag a knob and it ticks past each notch with a small click, a little higher in pitch as it climbs. Let go and it settles into the nearest notch with a final clack.

Slide them one at a time, or put a finger on each and move them together. Line them all up, make a staircase, or just slide one back and forth while you think. There is no right answer.

Quiet when you need it

Choose soft, wood or water clicks in Settings, turn the volume down, or play with the sound off. On Android phones and tablets, turn on Vibration to feel a tiny tick at each notch.

The slider is part of Family Plus, with the clicker board, infinity cube, squishy, marble maze and more. There are no ads on any plan, and no trackers.

Questions parents ask

How does the fidget slider work?

Drag a knob along its track. It clicks into a notch every little way, and settles into the nearest notch when you let go.

Can I move more than one slider at once?

Yes. Each finger can hold its own knob, so you can slide two or three tracks together.

Is the slider free?

It is part of Family Plus. The pop-it, bubble wrap and spinner are free.

Is there anything to win?

No. The slider is a toy, not a puzzle, so there are no scores and no timers.
